Although the estimation of a "pA2" for morphine-nalorphine was complicated by the latter's agonistic activity, the extrapolated value in the analgesic assay was 6.71. This value was different from a "pA3" of 5.63 obtained for antagonism of intestinal inhibition. © 1969, by The Williams & Wilkins Company
