AB The transport of epinephrine across the renal tubule in the chicken was inhibited by both diuretic and nondiuretic benzothiadiazine compounds. PAH transport was not affected by the benzothiadiazine compounds in these experiments presumably because of the low concentration ratio of inhibitor used. Epinephrine is actively transported across the renal tubule without modification. The Williams & Wilkins Company
