AB  - Serotonin and tryptamine produce a fall in blood pressure upon intravenous injection in anesthetized chickens. The experimental data presented indicate that the depressor response to these agents in the chicken is not due to a Bezold-Jarisch effect or any other cholinergic mechanism but may involve histamine mediation.
