Larger doses were required to suppress behavior on a small fixedratio schedule. The potency of l-norepinephrine in suppressing behavior was about one-third, and the potencies of d-epinephrine and d-norepinephrine about onetenth, that of l-epinephrine. The suppressing action of l-epinephrine was greatly reduced by phenoxybenzamine.
