SWISS YR 1955 UL http://jpet.aspetjournals.org/content/113/4/470.abstract AB Two methods of studying in vivo the effects of the liver in drug disposition have been applied to the study of procaine disposition in the dog. In agreement with the previous indirect or in vitro experiments in various species, the application of these methods has shown that the liver is important in both the destruction and storage of procaine in the dog in vivo. © 1955, by The Williams & Wilkins Company
