Abstract
Renal blood flow was studied in normal unanesthetized dogs in which a sterile thermostromuhr únit had been placed on the left renal artery a few days previously. The intravenous injection of solutions of phenol red or creatinine was found to produce an alteration of the renal blood flow lasting about ten minutes, after which the flow returned to about its previous level.
