In the above article [Chin CL, Upadhyay J, Marek GJ, Baker SJ, Zhang M, Mezler M, Fox GB, and Day M (2011) J Pharmacol Exp Ther 336:709–715], there are several text changes because of errors during proof processing. The corrected text appears below:
On page 709, the last sentence of the abstract, beginning “Thus, the region specific brain activations observed in this ketamine-phMRI study… ” is incorrect. The corrected sentence is “The region-specific brain activations observed in this ketamine phMRI study may afford a method of confirming central activity and dose selection in early clinical trials for novel experimental therapeutics.”
On page 711, left column, second line, “TR/target engagement” should be “repetition time/echo time.”
On page 714, left column, last paragraph, the sentence beginning “The regional specificity observed in the current study suggests…. ” is incorrect. The corrected sentence is “The regional specificity observed in the current study suggests that this ketamine awake rat model could be used as a translational biomarker confirming central activity and dose selection in early clinical trials for novel experimental therapeutics, although the utility and translatability remain to be seen across species.”
