Abstract
1. The time for the production of cholecystographic shadows, and for their attainment of maximum density, can apparently be shortened approximately one-half by the administration of 1 gram of tolysin by mouth prior to the intravenous administration of the usual dose of sodium tetra-iodo-phenolphthalein.
2. The expectation from its choleretic action, that tolysin would increase the speed of excretion of the halogenated phenolphthaleins by the liver, is thus far confirmed.
