Abstract
"Effects of Castration and Chronic Morphine Administration on Liver Alcohol Dehydrogenase and the Metabolism of Ethanol in the Male Rat," by T. J. Cicero, J. D. Bernard and K. S. Newman, vol. 212, no. 2, November 1980, p. 317, line 5, col. 2 of "Introduction" should read:
Furthermore, Rachamin et al. (1980) showed that liver ADH activity and the metabolism of ethanol were not significantly reduced at puberty in the female SH rat, resulting in significantly higher rates of ethanol metabolism in SH females, relative to males, at maturity (Israel et al., 1979; Rachamin et al., 1980). Waverly Press regrets the error.
