Abstract
Su-9064, a synthetic ether derivative of methyl epireserpate, was found to be a tranquilizing drug in dogs and mice. The tranquilizing action was characterized by rapid onset and a short duration of action. Su-9064 was found to be devoid of significant hypotensive activity in the dog, and only minimal effects were noted on gastrointestinal secretion and motility.
