Abstract
When thiopental is injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the mouse tail, cyanosis and gangrene occur between the site of injection and the tip of the tail. Necrosis and ulceration occur at the site of injection.
Injection of mice with reserpine delayed the development of gangrene and reduced the incidence of necrosis and ulceration.
