Corrections to "Heme-Reversible Impairment of CYP2B1/2 Induction in Heme-Depleted Rat Hepatocytes in Primary Culture: Translational Control by a Hepatic a-Subunit of the Eukaryotic Initiation Factor Kinase?"
In the article above [Han X-M, Lee G, Hefner C, Maher JJ, and Correia MA (2005) J Pharmacol Exp Ther 314:128-138], the printers mistakenly deleted "PERK" from the first sentence of the 2nd full paragraph on page 136. This sentence should read as follows: "eIF2a phosphorylation is catalyzed by four independent mammalian eIF2a kinases (GCN2, mammalian interferon inducible RNA-dependent kinase, PERK, and HRI) that are activated by various cellular stresses…."
In addition, the authors would like to report that the term "N-terminal" should be deleted from the phrase "…through two N-terminal heme-binding domains" in the same paragraph as above. Only one of the heme-binding domains is in the N terminus; the other is in the kinase insertion domain.
The online version of this article has been corrected in departure from the print version.
