In the print version of the above article [Hoti N, Zhu D, Song, Z, Wu Z, Tabassum S, and Wu M (2004) J Pharmacol Exp Ther 311:22-33], the affiliation for Sartaj Tabassum is incorrect.

The correct affiliation is the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India.

The online versions, both HTML and PDF, have been corrected in departure from the print version.
