1. Fluoroacetphenylhydrazide, "Fanyline," a potential rodenticide, has been found to be readily accepted by laboratory Wistar rats and C. F. mice.
2. The oral median lethal dose (± 1 std. error) of the compound was 9.1 (± 2.7) mg./kg. for rats, 44.9 (± 2.9) for mice, and 7.2 (± 0.6) for pigeons. For rabbits, the LD50 is probably slightly less than 1.3 mg./kg.; for guinea pigs, between 0.65 and 1.3; for cats, greater than 0.25 and less than 0.5; and for dogs, between 0.1 and 0.25 mg./kg.
