1. A method has been devised to determine propethylene in blood.
2. The anesthetic concentrations of propethylene in dog's blood lie between 30 and 40 mg. per cent. It is somewhat less in the monkey.
3. Propethylene for the most part is stable in the blood of the dog and monkey. Approximately 2.5 per cent of the blood concentration undergoes hydrolysis within a period of 3 hours.
