VI. COCARBOXYLASE PHOSPHATASE IN DOG SERUM

1. Dog serum contains a phosphatase which hydrolyses cocarboxylase.

2. Its activity increases with increase of pH from 7-8.5.

3. It is inhibited by cyanide, pyrophosphate, and slightly by NaF and CHCl3.
