A comparison of the therapeutic activity of sulfanilamide, sulfathiazole, and diaminosulfone with the activity of sulfapyridine against a pneumococcus infection in mice gave, on the basis of Median Survival Blood Concentrations, activity ratios of 0.43, 1.21 and 6.86 respectively.
