THE EFFECT OF THE DIET UPON THE ANESTHETIC QUALITIES OF SOME HYPNOTICS

1. Significant differences in the minimum hypnotic (H 50) and minimum lethal (L 50) doses of unsymmetrical n-propyl-o-tolylurea were found in groups of mice fed two widely different diets.

2. There is a remarkable difference in the duration of anesthesia following the administration of several hypnotics to mice fed a variety of diets.
