EFFECT OF REGULAR INJECTIONS OF ACETYLCHOLINE UPON THE CHOLINE-ESTERASE ACTIVITY OF SERUM

G. E. HALL 1 and G. H. ETTINGER 1

1 Department of Medical Research, Banting Institute, University of Toronto

The choline-esterase activity of dog serum is remarkably constant from hour to hour and from day to day over long periods of time.

Regular daily administration of acetylcholine for many months does not affect the choline-esterase activity of the serum.
