ANAESTHETIC EFFECTS OF SOME FURAN DERIVATIVES

1. Four furans have been studied and their anaesthetic potencies determined. None are of clinical value. Three of them have been shown to produce fatty changes in the liver.

2. A mechanism by which such changes might be produced is discussed.
