ACTION OF DRUGS ON THE CHRONIC DECORTICATED PREPARATION

Removal of the cortex brings about a condition (in the chronic animal) of marked drug susceptibility.

This increased sensitivity extends to the action of drugs affecting the peripheral autonomic system.
