A NOTE ON THE EFFECT OF EPINEPHRINE ON THE EXCISED TERRAPIN SINO-AURICULAR AND ATJRICULAR APEX STRIPS

High dilutions of epinephrine stimulate the positive tono-tropic sympathetic nerve endings in both the excised sinus and the auricular strips. Low dilutions stimulate the negative tonotropic sympathetic nerve endings and also those endings concerned with the rate of the fundamental contractions.
