SODIUM SALT OF C-C-CYCLOHEXENYLMETHYL-N-METHYL BARBITURIC ACID (EVIPAN) ANAESTHESIA IN LABORATORY ANIMALS

An account is given of evipan-sodium, a new basal anaesthetic of the barbituric acid series, which is capable of producing anaesthesia of short duration. The relation of dose to duration of effect, and the range of lethal action is reported in mice, rats, guinea pigs, and frogs.
