In the article by Kenneth H. Dudley, Thomas C. Butler and Dorothy Joimnson, Vol. 179, No. 3, December 1971, the following corrections should be noted.

The structure of the dimer, "penicilloylpenicillenic acid," shown in Scheme I, p. 517, is misplaced and should have appeared in Scheme III, p. 519.

The equilibrium condition between benzylpenicillenic acid and its noimabsorbing timiazoliclinyl- oxazolone shown in Scheme II, p. 518, is misplaced and should imave appeared in Scheme I, p. 517.

The intermolecular addition of thiol to benzylpenicillenic acid shown as i rlhar2 ii in Scheme III, p. 519, is misplaced and should have appeared in Scheme II, p. 51S.
