THE ANTAGONISM OF PHENTOLAMINE AGAINST EXOGENOUSLY ADMINISTERED AND ENDOGENOUSLY RELEASED NOREPINEPHRINE IN RABBIT AORTIC STRIPS

PEDRO R. URQUILLA 1, ROBERT E. STITZEL 1, and WILLIAM W. FLEMING 1

1 Department of Pharmacology, West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown, West Virginia

In the article by Pedro R. Urquilla, Robert E. Stitzel and William W. Fleming, Vol. 172, No. 2, April 1970, the following correction should be noted.

On page 311, column 1, beginning on line 11, the sentence which reads: "All experiments with norepinephrine were performed in the presence of propranolol, 4 x 10-5 M, in order to avoid activation of beta receptors," should be amended by omitting the words "with norepinephrine" to read: "All experiments were performed in the presence of propranolol, 4 x 10-5 M, in order to avoid activation of beta receptors."
