-OXIDASE IN VIVO BY BENZYLOXYAMINE AND BENZYLHYDRAZINE ANALOGS
1 Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry, National Heart Institute, Bethesda, Maryland
Procedures have been developed for evaluating effects of dopamine
-oxidase inhibitors in vivo. Benzyloxyamine and some ring substituted analogues were found to be effective in vivo inhibitors in these test systems. However, only one of these agents produced even measurable effects on endogenous norepinephrine levels in guinea-pig tissues.
