1. There is an error in the paper by Arthur S. Keats, Jane Telford and Yoshio Kurosu, entitled "Studies of Analgesic Drugs: III. Dextromoramide and a Comparison of Methods of Estimating Pain Relief in Man," Vol. 130, No. 2 (October), 1960. On pages 212 and 217 the chemical name of dextromoramide appears incorrectly as dl-(3-methyl-4-morpholino-2,2-diphenylbutyryl)pyrrolidine. The correct name is d-1-(3-methyl-4-morpholino-2,2-diphenylbutyryl)pyrrolidine, indicating that the drug is a dextro isomer. One author (A.S.K.) has pointed out that the racemic compound (not used in this study) has only half the activity of the dextro isomer, dextromoramide.
