N,N-diisopropyl- N'-isoamyl-N'-diethylaminoethylurea (P-286) reverses the pressor response to acetyicholine in the atropinized dog. This reversal is due to selective blockade of the action of acetyicholine in the adrenal medulla.

P-286 possesses a transient vasodepressor action per se, has weak ganglionic blocking action, and is not an adrenergic blocking agent.
