Of 98 substituted aminoacetamides and 10 propionamides screened for oxytocic activity, three compounds, di-n-propylamino-N , N-di-n-propylacetamide, di-n-butylamino-N , N-diethylacetamide and di-iso-butylamino-N , N-diethyl- acetamide were found to be the most active oxytocics.
