ANTERIOR CHAMBER INJECTION IN THE RABBIT AS A METHOD FOR DETERMINING IRRITANCY OF LOCAL ANESTHETICS

Injection of local anesthetic drugs into the anterior chamber of the rabbit eye is presented as a method for determining the irritant properties of these substances. Results with this method correlate well with the trypan blue test and with results obtained in man.
