EFFECT OF ELIMINATION OF HEPATIC CIRCULATION ON CYCLOPROPANE—EPINEPHRINE VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA AND ARTERIAL PLASMA POTASSIUM IN DOGS

In dogs anesthetized with cyclopropane the reduction of the plasma potassium response to epinephrine by exclusion of hepatic blood flow resulted in protection from ventricular tachycardia in 17 out of 18 dogs.
