l-Norepinephrine causes no change of hepatic blood flow in the normal anesthetized dog. Its administration is accompanied by an increase of hepatic arteriovenous oxygen difference, splanchnic oxygen consumption, hematocrit, and splanchnic vascular resistance, all of which are statistically significant.
