SEASONAL VARIATION IN RESPONSE TO OUABAIN

By monthly assay of ouabain, from January through December for one year, it has been demonstrated that the frog shows a definite seasonal variation, being less susceptible during the months of July, August, September, and October. Similar assays have been carried out in cats, also throughout a twelve-month cycle, and no seasonal variations have been detected.
